A little over a week ago, I caught up with Tristen + Jake for an afternoon of Sun Chasing, Wicked chats and exploring for their Couples Session, a part of their overall Wedding Package. The number one thing I hear from most people is "We're a little awkward in front of the camera" or "We're not really comfortable or good at posing", Its the same thing I heard from Tristen and Jake and this is why I always encourage locking in a shoot before your big day! It gives both parties (photographer and client) a chance to get to know each other better, emails and calls are fun but being outdoors is SOOO much better! It also gives the couple practise; showing affection, laughing, joking, being present in the moment in front of other people, PDA is 'awkward' sometimes - I get it haha! Being able to practise these things before your big day is one of the most important pieces of advice I give to all of my clients, plus as a bonus you get some absolute kick ass images out of it!! YEW!
Thank you for spending the afternoon with me Tristen + Jake. I had the best time walking through the bush chatting about life, fishing (a lot of fishing talk), making you guys dance, and laugh with my commentary! HAHA! Seriously pumped for your Adams Peak Wedding in June 2019!! YAAAAAS!
